Rudolf Buchbinder will conduct and perform works by Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Barcelona y Nacional de Catalunya at the beautiful Auditori of Barcelona.

Acclaimed specialist in the Classical repertoire, pianist Rudolf Buchbinder will be the soloist and orchestra conductor for this evening. The programme is focused on concertos of three great composers, one of whom already led to the arrival of Romanticism. This true tour de force for the Austrian musician, leads from the genuine and refined Classicism of Haydn to the unmistakable and fascinating personality of late Mozart, to end with the genius of a Beethoven, for whom the Classical conventions had become too small to express the complexity and wealth of his art.
