Händel's glorious oratorio,"The Messiah", will be performed by the Musica Bohemica Prague Orchestra in Barcelona.
Composed in the summer of 1741 and premiered in Dublin on 13 April 1742, "The Messiah" is Händel's most famous creation and one of the most popular works in Western choral literature. It includes the very well‐known "Hallelujah!" chorus.
The joyful arias and choruses of The Messiah are a perfect way to welcome the holiday season in Barcelona. Boni Pueri Choir, founded in 1983, is one of the most prestigious choirs in the Czech Republic. Cultural Ambassador of the European Federation of Choirs of the Union, this choir is composed of members with ages between 4 and 23 years, and has performed in some of the most prestigious halls.
