The event 'Art and Concert' unites masterpieces of two fine arts: paintings at the Albertina and classical music at the Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery. Exactly what art lovers are looking for! And since all these cultural experiences will give you an appetite, you have the option of enjoying a gourmet menu.

Albertina

The Albertina is the most popular and most visited museum in Austria. It features Albrecht Dürer's 'Young Hare', the touching children's portraits by Rubens, Klimt's erotic drawings as well as masterpieces by painters spanning a variety of styles, from Rudolf von Alt to Picasso. Located in the heart of Vienna, the Albertina is also Vienna's largest permanent Habsburg residence. This palace used to be the residence of Maria Theresia's favorite daughter. On the occasion of the 250th birthday of the greatest music genius of all times, the Albertina will host the official Vienna Mozart Exhibit. Everything will revolve around Mozart, taking visitors back to his time. Valuable objects will provide insight into the life and work of this unsurpassed composer.

The dinner

The dinner is taking place in the Café-Restaurant Residenz. This building located in the so‐called Ehrenhof ('Court of Honor') is adjacent to the palace's main entrance. An elegant three – course candlelight dinner awaits you. In summer, dinner will be served in the cozy outside dining area.

The concert

As a grand finale of an eventful day, you will attend a concert of the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra at the Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery. This historic baroque hall, which, being a part of Schoenbrunn Palace, has been declared a UNESCO world heritage, was highly appreciated by the Habsburg royalty. It was used as the perfect location for sumptuous festivities. We have revived this tradition by offering a concert that you will remember long after having left Vienna. The renowned Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra presents the most famous works written by W. A. Mozart and Johann Strauß, the 'Viennese King of Waltz'. This enchanting music will be accompanied by the performance of vocalists and ballet dancers that will delight your eyes and ears alike.
