Virgil Boutellis‐Taft, violin: Bach, Tchaikovsky, Saint‐Saens, Bruch
イベント情報
Magnificent program than that proposed by the violinist Virgil Boutellis‐Taft who, after a brilliant beginning of career in the United States, has just recorded his new album 'Incantation' with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, for our greatest delight. Fervor and intensity of these works served by a fiery and generous bow. Among these is an original piece by Thomas Enhco, which they will create together for this occasion, around an improvised dialogue between the violin, the jazz piano and the orchestra.
Qualified by critics as an 'outstanding violinist', 'with a fiery temper', Virgil Boutellis‐Taft leads a career as a soloist and chamber musician on major international stages. Next season, he will play in Cadogan Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with which he has just recorded his latest album. He will also perform at Carnegie Hall, at the Berlin Philharmonic, at the Symphony Space in New York, at the Kursaal in San Sebastian… Virgil plays the Domenico Montagnana 'ex Régis Pasquier' Venice 1742, thanks to the generosity of a private patron .
