Mendelssohn's Octet: Auditori in Barcelona

The Gerhard Quartet and Alart Quartet perform one of the most emblematic works of the repertoire for large chamber ensembles. Mendelssohn composed the octet when he was only 16, and it became a milestone in chamber music from the first half of the nineteenth century.

The program also features works by Smetana and Cervelló.
