Düsseldorf is one of the German cities with a richer musical tradition, with its own orchestras since 1614. The Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, with more than 150 years of history, has had the honor of having Mendelssohn and Schumann as its musical conductors. It is a pleasure present this venerable institution in its Season, conducted by Ádám Fischer, who has given us such good memories in his appearances at the head of the Vienna’s Symphony. The monumental and dramatic Ninth Symphony by Mahler is in the hands, then, of interpreters of maximum guarantee.
