De Falla The three‐cornered hat, suites 1 and 2
Lalo Spanish Symphony
Stravinski Firebird

*The concert will open with Manuel de Falla and El sombrero de tres picos, the result of collaboration with two other great talents: Pablo Picasso in charge of the scenography and one of the most influential personalities in the history of dance, the Russian Sergei Diaghilev. And precisely another ballet commissioned by the Russian businessman and later converted into a suite by its composer will be the protagonist of the second part, Igor Stravinski's The Firebird. A work in which the composer shows his knowledge of the colorful orchestral timbre and marked the beginning of the relationship between Diaghilev and Stravinski.

Color and virtuosity can also be expected from the performance of the Spanish Symphony by one of the most sought‐after violinists of the moment: Christian Tetzlaff. The French composer of Spanish origin was inspired by the great Pablo Sarasate to compose this work, which would become one of his most acclaimed pages throughout Europe since its premiere in 1875.
