ヴェネツィアの聖ジョージ英国国教会という壮麗な会場にて、マンドリンヴェネツィア・アンサンブルが、ヴィヴァルディからロッシーニに至るイタリア古典音楽の歴史を、マンドリンの情感豊かな響きで紡ぐ音楽の旅をご提案します。 本公演では、このアンサンブルのために書かれたオリジナル作品に加え、巨匠たちによる編曲作品も披露されます。マンドリンのために書かれた最も崇高な旋律を辿る理想的な軌跡をたどり、心と魂に響く体験をお約束します。

This small ensemble was a real find and a great evening entertainment while we were holidaying in Venice. The group ranges in number from a quartet to an octet and all are consummate musicians playing mandolin, mandolin and guitar. The intimate setting meant that we could follow every instrument withe clarity. The control of dynamics especially at pp gave a wonderful delicacy and the tasteful use of rubato breathed life into the music. The nicely varied repertoire was mostly from the romantic era, where the mandolin attained its truly unique voice. We appreciated the insightful commentary which was also kindly translated into English for us. I took my two children to this concert and was not sure how they would react but both loved it! I was disappointed that more people did not attend this concert since this ensemble really deserves more recognition. In summary we had a wonderful experience and I bought the CD. I came away with a new appreciation of the instrument. When played this well it is every bit as expressive as the violin. Robert, Bronte & William, Jersey UK
