Stormy Weather: Al Bustan Festival Beirut

イベント情報

Experience orchestral depictions of thunder and lightning from Rossini and Tchaikovsky, as well as a performance of Tchaikovsky's impressive violin concerto.

Russian violinist Sergey Krylov plays the famous concerto by his fellow countryman, one of the longest, but that has not put a damper on its popularity.

The concert also features storms from operas by Rossini, including 'William Tell' and 'The Barber of Seville' and 'La Cenerentola', and one by Tchaikovsky himself: an overture for his friend's play, called 'The Storm'.
