The Opera Festival Monteriggioni presents "La Bohème", one of Giacomo Puccini's most beloved operas, performed open air in the wonderful Monteriggioni Castle by singers in costume, accompanied by piano.
The world premiere of this masterpiece was performed in Turin on February 1, 1896 at the Teatro Regio and conducted by the legendary Arturo Toscanini. Since then, La Bohème has become an absolute staple of every opera houses repertoire and one of the most performed operas worldwide.
