Finnish National Opera Ballet: Blood Wedding & Scheherazade

イベント情報

The Finnish National Opera Ballet presents a double bill featuring works by two choreographers: the powerful "Blood Wedding" by British choreographer Kathy Marston, and "Sheherazade", a new work by Kenneth Greve.

"Blood Wedding" by Cathy Marson is about two women, mother and bride. Their destinies intertwine on the day of the wedding, as a fiery passion leads the bride to desert her groom.

In Kenneth Greve's "Scheherazade", the Sultan, deceived in love, has decided that he hates all women. His latest wife, the lovely Scheherazade, avoids the cruel fate of her predecessors by telling her husband a story whose ending she always promises to reveal the following night. As the nights go on, the Sultan realizes that he is in love with her.

Recommended for children aged 10 and above.
