Andreas Scholl: Pergolesi, Stabat Mater

There are some iconic figures who seem to be immune to the ravages of time and whose virtuosity and elegance survive intact. Andreas Scholl belongs to that category of artists: he continues to enthral audiences and to transcend the repertoire he performs.

The Centre for Fine Arts offers another opportunity to hear Scholl, this time in the company of the soprano Klara Ek in three monumental works of the baroque repertoire: Vivaldi's Stabat Mater and Salve Regina and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater.
