フレデリック・ショパン

フレデリック・ショパンは、ロマン派時代（19世紀初頭）のポーランドの作曲家、ピアニストである。ピアノ・ソロを中心に、ピアノ・コンサート、室内楽曲、ポーランド語の歌詞による歌曲などを作曲した。彼は同世代の作曲家とは比較にならない詩的天才として知られている。実際、彼は器楽バラードという概念を創り出し、その演奏は繊細で精妙なことで知られている。彼は生涯のほとんどをパリで過ごし、サロンの親密な雰囲気の中で演奏した。生涯のほとんどを不健康に苦しんだ。その結果、結核のためか39歳の若さでこの世を去った。

    Mathis Cathignol brilliant‐ every composition from memory‐ he played one of my favorite compositions (Variations sure La ci darem la mano)- I have never heard it played before at a recital likely because it is 17 min when played by a professional‐ absolutely brilliant

    Philippe Alegre was excellent. we got to St Julien le Pauvre early so we could have the best seats. his style of playing is very clean and his phrasing was really beautiful. he played a number of Chopin compositions — I love everything Chopin but particular enjoyed his Nocturne #20 C sharp and Nocturne #1 B flat minor, No 2 E flat Major and expecially Fantasie impromptuminor and
