1870年、リヒャルト・ワーグナーは愛妻コジマの誕生日祝いに、13の楽器のための魅力的な器楽曲『ジークフリート牧歌』を作曲した。当時コジマは愛息ジークフリートを出産したばかりであった。初演はクリスマスの朝、ルツェルン近郊のトリプシェンにある家族の別荘で、目覚めたコジマへのサプライズとして上演された。この牧歌が持つ優しく情感豊かな親密さとは対照的に、興味深い組み合わせとなっているのがブルックナーの交響曲第7番である。壮大で厳粛なこの作品は、威厳ある響きと放つ霊的な力で聴衆を魅了するよう設計されている。

| オーケストラ: | Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
