エマニュエル・チェクナヴォリアンは舞踏の歩みで、観客をバレエに捧げられた最も貴重な楽章の数々を巡る発見の旅へと誘う。彼はこのレパートリーに対する「自身の解釈」をミラノ・オーディトリアムの舞台に初めて披露し、著名な同胞アラム・ハチャトゥリアンのバレエ『ガヤネ』から自ら編み出した組曲を提示する。音楽監督はミラノ交響楽団と共に、バレエに焦点を当てたプログラムを構築する。アルメニア人作曲家と並んで登場するのは、ストラヴィンスキーの『火の鳥』―彼の「ロシア的」作曲期の完璧な表現―と、マヌエル・デ・ファリャの『三角帽子』である。いずれも、バレエ・リュスの神がかり的な存在だった天才ディアギレフのために書かれたバレエ作品だ。

オーケストラ: Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi

Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements.
