リムスキー＝コルサコフの魅惑的な『シェヘラザード』は、ミラノ交響楽団のコンサートマスター、ルカ・サンタニエロによる冒頭の和音で幕を開け、私たちを異国の世界へと誘う。五感と感情を通じて、『千夜一夜物語』の物語でスルタンを魅了した女性の物語を探求する。このプログラムでは、ピアニスト兼指揮者キム・スンウクの多彩な才能が、この傑作とピアノレパートリーの頂点であるベートーヴェンのピアノ協奏曲第4番を共演する。ここでは史上初めて、ピアノが伝統的なオーケストラの序奏に先立ち、最初の沈黙を破る。

Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
