Jubilant, intimate, dramatic and tranquil – the mass voices the cycle of life and death and the expectation of eternity that follows. The Bach Collegium Japan was founded by Masaaki Suzuki, conductor, harpsichordist and early music pioneer in the Far East. Suzuki recently won an ECHO award for his recording of all Bach cantatas.
