Renowned violinist and conductor of the famous National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, Vladimir Spivakov, will be joined by pianist Nikolai Tokarew for a program featuring works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Shostakovitch.

What is unknown to many is that Spivakov is celebrated like a pop star in Russia. He is a celebrity known to all, amongst classical and non‐classical music lovers. The founder of the National Philharmonic Orchestra was named 'Artist of Peace' by the UNESCO and in France he was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor.
