Hear the famous Los Angeles Philharmonic under the direction of its chief conductor Gustavo Dudamel, in a program of works conjuring the charms of the City of Angels and the United States.
The evening opens with a new work by Esa‐Pekka Salonen, commissioned by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, before the orchestra turns to Edgar Varèse’s evocative Amériques. The concert will end with Shostakovitch’s Fifth Symphony, his most popular one.
