Jacques Offenbach's wonderful operetta"Evening Breeze, or the Horrible Feast" will be performed at the Volksoper Wien. Cannibal chiefs Evening Breeze and Biberhahn want to set aside their enmity. But at the feast for the occasion of their summit meeting, Biberhahn's son is almost eaten for dinner.    Johann Nestroy's interpretation of the Offenbach one‐act performance is a satirical masterpiece in which so‐called civilization is mercilessly exposed as a mere facade.
