Beethoven Trios: François‐Frédéric Guy at the Philharmonie de Paris
Lo spettacolo
Allow Beethoven to leave his calling card — the three great piano trios with which he introduced himself to Viennese musical society. François‐Frédéric Guy furthers his 'Beethoven Project' in collaboration with Tedi Papavrami and Xavier Phillips.
Marked by the unusual freedom they offer to violin and cello — a freedom hitherto unequalled in the genre — the 'Gassenhauer', 'Geister' and 'Archduke' Trios are among Beethoven's most notable, and are made even more remarkable by being some of the composer's first efforts in this genre. Guy, Papavrami, and Phillips bring their exceptional expertise and deep knowledge to the evening — since 2012, they have presented the complete Beethoven Piano Trios.
