Questo spettacolo di festa a Roma presenta celebri arie d'opera italiane tratte da "Tosca", "La Traviata" e "L'Elisir d'amore", oltre alle più popolari canzoni napoletane, come "O'sole mio" e "Torna a Surriento".
Tre tenori solisti saranno accompagnati da un quartetto d'archi e da un pianoforte a coda.

Chiesa di S. Paolo entro le Mura
La Chiesa di San Paolo tra le Mura" è la prima chiesa non cattolica costruita a Roma dopo l'unità d'Italia. Più precisamente, fu costruita tra il 1873 e il 1880 come basilica anglicana nel quartiere di Castro Pretorio, in Via Nazionale, Roma. Il suo stile artistico è romanico-gotico e la sua facciata esterna è caratterizzata dall'alternanza di mattoni rossi e calcarei. L'interno presenta una dettagliata raffigurazione della vita di San Paolo e dell'Apocalisse. Queste opere si trovano rispettivamente sulle tre navate con vetrate e sui meravigliosi mosaici. Inoltre, alcune famose figure ottocentesche possono essere identificate come rappresentanti alcuni padri della chiesa nei mosaici elaborati. Si tratta di Abraham Lincoln, Joseph Garibaldi e del generale Grant (protagonista della guerra di secessione americana). In più, in questa location sono ospitati numerosi e suggestivi eventi classici, come le rappresentazioni di opere popolari come La Traviata.
Giuseppe Verdi
Giuseppe Verdi era un compositore d'opera italiana. Fin da giovane, sviluppò un'educazione musicale con l'aiuto di un mecenate e presto dominò l'opera italiana. A trent'anni, infatti, divenne uno dei più influenti compositori d'opera di tutta la scena classica. Le sue opere più famose sono Il Trovatore, Rigoletto e La Traviata. Inoltre, fu in grado di affermarsi come proprietario terriero con i proventi delle sue opere di successo e di concentrarsi sulla sua vita privata. Tuttavia, tornò presto sulla scena con la sua nuova opera popolare Aida (1871) e tre capolavori: Otello, Requiem e Falstaff.
Giacomo Puccini
Giacomo Puccini era un compositore d'opera italiana della fine del XIX secolo. Era considerato uno dei più grandi compositori dell'Opera Italiana, secondo solo a Verdi. I suoi primi lavori erano caratterizzati da tratti della tradizionale opera romantica italiana del XIX secolo. In seguito, il suo stile si sviluppò nello stile verismo realistico, che lo ispirò a scrivere i suoi capolavori più famosi e divenne uno dei maggiori esponenti di questo stile. Le sue opere più famose, La bohème (1896), Tosca (1900), Madama Butterfly (1904) e Turandot (1924), sono tutte opere popolari rappresentate nei luoghi più prestigiosi del mondo classico.
Gaetano Donizetti
Gaetano Donizetti è stato un compositore italiano dei primi anni del XIX secolo. Insieme a Gioachino Rossini e Vincenzo Bellini è stato uno dei maggiori compositori dello stile lirico belcanto. Nel corso della sua carriera, Donizetti scrisse quasi 70 opere sia comiche che serie. Il suo primo successo notevole arrivò con un'opera seria, Zoraida di Granata, che fu presentata nel 1822 a Roma. Di conseguenza, ebbe un grande impatto sulla scena lirica italiana e internazionale, spostando l'attenzione sull'opera seria (opera nobile e "seria"). Tra le sue opere più note ricordiamo però commedie come L'elisir d'amore (1832) e Don Pasquale (1843).
Eduardo Di Capua
Eduardo di Capua era un compositore italiano di fine Ottocento. Suo padre era un musicista e lo avvicinò al mondo della musica. Infatti, viaggiò con il padre in molti paesi europei. Durante uno dei suoi viaggi in Ucraina nel 1898, compose insieme al poeta Giovanni Capurro la famosa melodia di "O sole mio". O sole mio sarebbe diventato un inno italiano non ufficiale e romantico. Stranamente, alle Olimpiadi di Anversa del 1920, il direttore della banda non riuscì a trovare la musica per l'attuale inno nazionale italiano e invece suonò "O Sole Mio".

Bravo aux trois ténors qui savent allier technique, brio et humour pour des oeuvres que certes on connaît bien mais que l'on entend toujours avec plaisir en "live". Bravo aussi pour les instrumentistes, un superbe travail d'ensemble. Signé : une violoncelliste qui sait ce que cela implique comme travail de préparation ! Enjoyed the performance and selection of music etc. However, the overall experience could be much better if performers used microphones attached to lapels. Also, extremely hot with no air‐conditioning. On a positive note the tenors did a good job of engaging the audience in Part two of the performance

The performance was good, it was uncomfortably cold, so some heating would have been welcome. Also an announcement to ask people not to take photos would have been very good . They were very distracting, but also the girl telling them to stop was also distracting.
