A propos du spectacle

Vjatsheslav Novikov, Ukrainian pianist who resides in Finland, is known well by the Estonian audience. All his piano recitals in Estonia have so far been received with admiration and his master classes are held in high regard. Novikov feels a special closeness to the composers of classical‐romanticist era — Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin – whose works he interprets with unique poetical approach and depth.

Asko Heiskanen studied with Osmo Linkola and Kari Kriikku at the Sibelius Academy and then with Christian Peignier and Thomas Friedlin in France and Switzerland. He has also participated the master classes of Charles Neidichin, Karl Leister, Michel Lethiec and Alan Hackerin. Asko Heiskanen won the Cruselli Clarinet Competition in 1995. He is today the associate principal clarinet of the Tapiola Sinfonietta.
