Meet tomorrow's stars as they begin their careers under the auspices of the Holland International Music Sessions. Cellist Raphaela Gromes and pianist Andrei Shychko make their debuts at the Concertgebouw.

Gromes is already an established figure in her native Germany and, with duo partner Julian Riem, is beginning to make inroads on the wider European scene. Richard Strauss' early Sonata in f minor is a key work in her program at this afternoon recital. The young Belorusian pianist, still only in his teens, is rapidly emerging as one to watch, and has had notable success with the Chopin works he will play.
