Michel Portal plays clarinet and saxophone with astonishing technique, having received a classical music training.

At the Grand Théâtre de Provence, he and his ensemble perform his recent creation, Bailador: music that is unclassifiable, lyric, virtuosic, spontaneous and sophisticated, completely sincere and thoroughly inspiring.
