El Kirichenko Trio y el Polaris Quartet presentarán una selección de obras rusas poco escuchadas en este concierto matinal.
Sergei Taneyev fue alumno de Tchaikovsky y, sobre todo, un virtuoso del piano muy apreciado. También fue injustamente ignorado durante mucho tiempo Mieczysław Weinberg, cuya obra está experimentando un renacimiento. El octavo cuarteto de Weinberg es seguido por el primero de Shostakovich.

The event was wonderful. The seat selection on the sides of the balcony was awful. No choice to select seats. And had to sit very close to edge making me very dizzy. Poor seating on balcony sides of Koncerthaus Berlin.
