Expand your senses to add touch and sight to the sound usually associated with music. Mathias Pintscher conducts the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Netherlands Chamber Choir, and acclaimed violinist Leila Josefowicz, in three works that bring other dimensions into music.

Toru Takemitsu's 'Twill by Twilight' weaves together strands of sound, much as a loom would create a twill fabric, to create an aural layering of colors that evokes the momentary shift from twilight to night. Likewise, Pintscher's Mar'eh and Debussy's 'Nocturnes' combine transparent ribbons of sound to create a tapestry that brings to life an experience, a moment, or an event.
