Chinese piano phenomenon Yundi Li, who is now frequently referred to simply as "Yundi", began playing piano at the age of seven, and even then, he had ambitions of becoming a professional pianist.

Since winning the 2010 International Chopin Competition at the age of 18, Yundi has been enthusiastically acclaimed around the world for his phenomenal technique. In his native China he is an inspiration for millions of young people who have dubbed him the "Prince of the Piano".
