Hear the Prague Symphony Orchestra play Mussorgsky's famous suite.

This concert is dedicated to Václavu Smetáček, the orchestra's longest‐serving chief conductor. They play two favourite pieces: Sommer's prelude to "Antigone", and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. During WW2, it was forbidden to play Ravel's orchestration of the work, but Smetáček wanted to play the piece so much that he made his own version, for only one performance.
