Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra: Slavic Romanticism

Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra brings a piece of home with it to Berlin this time. Under the title 'Slavic Romanticism', under the direction of Petr Chromczak, they will present compositions by Smetana and Dvořák, the most prominent representatives of classical Czech music and another genius composer, Peter I. Tchaikovsky, whose setting of the tragic love story 'Romeo and Juliet' is one of the most important Romantic pieces. Smetana's 'Die Moldau' is heard before the cheerful composition 'Aus Böhmens Hain und Flur'. In the second part of the concert Antonín Dvořáks in New York composed 9th Symphony 'From the New World' is on the program.
