爱沙尼亚国家歌剧院隆重推出乔治·比才的歌剧《卡门》。

1875年歌剧《卡门》在法国首演，当时并没有取得成功。此部歌剧的剧情被认为是违反了当时的道德规范。比才从此一病不起，三个月后便逝世。具有讽刺意味的是，后来《卡门》重演，获得了巨大的成功。
