Emma Kirkby and the Bell'Arte Ensemble Salzburg invite to a concert with works by Biber, Caldara, Merula, and many other composers of the early music period.
Everyone who has a standing and reputation in the early music scene will be represented in Munich this season with exciting and exquisite programs: the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, the Berlin Baroque Soloists, the Salzburg Bell'Arte Ensemble, Stefan Temmingh, Lautten Compagney with Timeless, the European Union Baroque Orchestra, Emma Kirkby, the star flutist Emmanuel Pahud and the star violinist Enrico Onofri.
They are pioneers of historical performance practise and with their joy for performing they find paths steering in new directions — away from the popular mainstream and toward entirely new concepts of sound.
