The Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra will perform works by Brahms, Shostakovich, and Shchedrin under the baton of Valery Gergiev, at the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid.

The Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre has always attracted leading conductors from around the world, including Hector Berlioz, Richard Wagner, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Gustav Mahler, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Jean Sibelius.
