For 10 years, Merkin Concert Hall's Broadway Close Up series has been taking audiences behind the scenes of classic musicals old and new and giving them sneak peeks at some of the best new shows in production.

This Broadway Close Up pre‐season special event features "Songs by Composers and Lyricists You Probably Don't Know but Should".  Hear a lively sampling of the most original work by some of the hottest new composers and lyricists working in the theater today. Hosted by Tony Award winning composer Bill Finn, writer/composer of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee", a faculty member at New York University’s prestigious musical theater program at the Tisch school, and beloved mentor to many of the best new theater writers today, this show features a stellar cast that includes Sally Wilfert, Demond Green and Wilson Bridges.
