Lothar Zagrosek conducts the Konzerthausorchester Berlin performing works of Berio, Lutoslawski, Debussy, and Boulez at the "musikfest berlin 10".

Berlin’s major festival for orchestral music, will once again open the city’s concert season. At the heart of this year's festival programme will be the musical oeuvres of Pierre Boulez – the great French composer and conductor, whose 85th birthday is being celebrated this year throughout the musical world – and of his Italian composer‐colleague Luciano Berio. This programme begins with works by Berio and ends with the first Berlin performance of Boulez's "Rituel" that includes the composer's spatial concept for the piece.
