Christoph Eschenbach will conduct the Orchestre de Paris and mezzo‐soprano soloist Waltraud Meier in a performance of works by the 19th century French master‐composer Hector Berlioz, including his famed symphony "La Fantastique".

The Orchestre de Paris is one of the largest and most prestigious international orchestras. True to its history, this orchestra of 119 full‐time musicians offers a vast repertoire extending from symphonic works to opera and contemporary music. Since September 2006, it has been in permanent residence at the Salle Pleyel, where it rehearses and performs all the concerts in its Paris season.

In his final season at the head of the Orchestre de Paris, Christoph Eschenbach has gathered an array of his favourite artists, performing works that have been central to his career as a conductor and as a pianist.
