The Tonkünstler‐Orchester Niederösterreich is dedicated to upholding the traditional concert repertoire. Under the principal guest conductor Michail Jurovsky and together with violin virtuoso Vadim Gluzman, the orchestra interprets a programme of classical and Romantic music.

 

The opening with Schubert is followed by the masterful violin concerto by Brahms. The second part of the programme provides a pleasant opportunity to listen again to one of the most famous examples of programatic music: Ludwig van Beethoven’s 6th Symphony "Pastorale".
