Musikfest Berlin: Bamberger Symphoniker & Jonathan Nott

Jonathan Nott conducts the Bamberger Symphoniker and soprano Jeree Suh, at the "musikfest berlin 10", Berlin’s major festival for orchestral music.

At the heart of this year's festival programme will be the musical oeuvres of Pierre Boulez – the great French composer and conductor, whose 85th birthday is being celebrated this year throughout the musical world – and of his Italian composer‐colleague Luciano Berio.

In this programme, the orchestra presents Boulez's masterwork, "Pli selon pli", based on poems by Stéphane Mallarmé.
