Future chief conductor Danielle Gatti leads the Concertgebouw Orchestra in what promises to be an exciting annual event: the RCO Opening Night.

Enjoy a festive concert at the opening of the season with a special program and renowned soloist. Gatti combines two highlights from the Russian dance tradition — Tchaikovsky's Suite from the Nutcracker and Stravinsky's Firebird Suite. Internationally acclaimed cellist Yo‐Yo Ma returns to the Concertgebouw after 20 years performing Shostakovich's First Cello Concerto.
