Divertimento Vocale Berlin immediately convinces with its vocally balanced sound. The young 8‐member vocal ensemble sings a lovingly selected mixture of secular madrigals and sacred vocal music in Swedish, Italian and English at its autumn concert in the French Cathedral on the Gendarmenmarkt, thereby reviving the almost forgotten tradition of vocal art. Friederike Wrobel & Antonia Biemer (soprano), Anja Trekel & Cäcilia Vormstein (alto), Pedro Matos & Armin Horn (tenor), Christoph Biemer (bass) & Lukas Schulze (bass) present with 'I Himmelen' (Swedish: 'Im Himmelen') skillfully beautiful, pure sounds, which are rarely heard in such a way in the capital.
