The soprano Diana Damrau is a master of embellishing music with rapid trills and runs.
She has been acclaimed as “the world’s foremost coloratura soprano” and “a soprano of incomparable intelligence” by newspapers such as the New York Times and the Guardian.
The scene is set for a solo concert with her in the Main House!
Diana Damrau has enchanted the public for some two decades, with her unique voice and captivating stage presence. She has sung at some of the world’s leading opera houses and concert halls, and in 2014 was awarded the “Best Female Singer” prize at the International Opera Awards. She brings with her the French harpist Xavier de Maistre.
