The London Philharmonic Orchestra, Vladimir Jurowski and Anna Larsson will visit Madrid's Auditorio Nacional to perform a programme of works by Beethoven, Wagner and Mahler.
Seventy‐seven years after its founding by Sir Thomas Beecham, the London Philharmonic Orchestra is recognised today as one of the leading orchestras in the world. The Orchestra maintains close relationships with major record labels, radio stations, and film productions. Their concerts are broadcasted regularly through radio and television. The London Philharmonic has worked extensively with the film industry of Hollywood and the UK, recording soundtracks for movies like the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings. In 2005, the Orchestra launched its own label.
