The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra comes to the National Forum of Music with a program of music by Takemitsu, Debussy, and Brahms, led by English conductor Jonathan Nott.

The program culminates in Brahms' Symphony No. 1, a work on which the composer famously labored for over a decade, struggling to live up to the standard set by Beethoven a generation earlier.
