Conductor Hartmut Haenchen leads the Netherlands Chamber Choir in their program "Big to Basics". Together they return to the historical foundation of classical music: polyphonic vocal music. For Haenchen, who started as a choirboy in Dresden, it is a literal trip down memory lane. The program features works by Bach, Kodály, and Brahms' beloved Liebeslieder Walzer which will be performed together with pianists Wyneke Jordans and Leo van Doeselaar.
