Sir John Eliot Gardiner is not afraid of monumental projects. He recorded the complete cantatas of Bach (nearly two hundred), moreover performing each one on the calendar day for which it was written.

The Bach marathon on offer at Cité de la Musique is charged with the same energy and spirit of constructing a dramatic sequence through the cycle of concerts. Follow the crescendo that Gardiner has created through Bach's work.

Upon presentation of a ticket for this concert, the public is invited to an additional event at 6:30 p.m., also in the Concert Hall: Sir John Eliot Gardiner will include the audience in a rehearsal of Bach's "Ich habe genug."
