Die schöne Müllerin
О событии
The German Canadian tenor Michael Schade sings Schubert's 'Die schöne Müllerin', accompanied by the pianist Wolfram Rieger.
'No tenor has sung these 20 songs more simply, naturally, touchingly and beautifully since Fritz Wunderlich', remarked the magazin 'Kurier' about Michael Schade's recording of the 'Fair Maid of the Mill'. American critics found the CD 'breath‐taking' which profit Michael Schade donates to the leukaemia research.
'We have learned this from the water' sings the miller's assistant at the start of his journey: 'It's always thinking of its journey, the water!' The stream is his 'noisy friend', who guides him along his way and whom he can trust with the story of his love.
You will enjoy Schubert's most famous songs of 'Fair Maid of the Mill', performed by two well‐known musicians in the beautiful ambient at the Stephaniesaal in Graz.
