The Viennese pianist Aaron Pilsan is not yet 20, but has already made a name for himself. Formerly a competitive chess‐player, he started young, and was convinced to get back on the piano stool.

Pilsan doesn't see the need to constrain himself to one style of music, and his programmes are enjoyably varied: this concert features works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Szymanowski.
