Русская народная сказка о Петрушке, кукле, оживленной дыханием жизненной силы и эмоций, переплетается с «Зигфридом» Вагнера и «Деревом грез» (L'arbre des songes) Анри Дютийё, Концертом для скрипки с оркестром, посвященным Исааку Стерну и исполненным талантливым швейцарским скрипачом Себастьяном Бореном. Концерт Дютийё 1985 года более тесно объединяет солиста с оркестровым окружением, а «Waldweben» Вагнера вызывает в воображении чарующий лес, в котором Зигфрид укрывается во втором акте оперы. Богатый опыт Яка ван Стена поможет зрителям пройти через это сказочное путешествие.

Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements.
