Vytautas Sondeckis

Vytautas Sondeckis was born in 1972 and the son of the Lithuanian conductor and teacher Saulius Sondeckis. He has studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, and then became a student of David Geringas in Lubeck. In 1996 Vytautas Sondeckis became the Assistant Principal Cello of the NDR Symphony Orchestra. After winning various competitions, such as the Australasian International Cello Competition, he has been in considerable demand as a solo cellist.
