Classical music by candlelight — the 'Adventserenaden' in the historic 'Gotischer Saal' with advent‐ and christmas melodies, popular works of Mozart, Bach and Haydn and some tunes of austrian folk music belongs to some of the most popular and lovely advent events in Salzburg. The Adventserenaden are performed by the Mozartserenaden‐Ensemble together with the Ruperti‐Quartett, Maria Hauser (sopran) and Margarita Ruprecht.
